12F and sunny this morning.

I have been waiting for the yarn to start the project for my friend and have been met with shipping delays across the board. The package is finally at the PO and it is closed today. It is enough to make me swear up a blue steek (yes, that word is deliberate).

Happy Birthday thalinoviel!

It was cold all day long yesterday and by 5:30 it was raining followed quickly by fog.

The new mousetrap is assembled and set so now all I have to do is see if I catch anything. I am hopeful - though not getting too cocky about this. Little mice are pretty resourceful creatures.

At 8 AM it was already 80 degrees outside. The forecast is for 89. In reality it won’t stay that cool and it will get into the mid-to high 90s. Just like yesterday.

It was a long day yesterday but things got done and it ended with a trip into NYC for a gathering of Sf/fantasy professionals. It was good to see friends and meet new people. By the time we got home it was late, cold and the rain was bucketing down.
